Just another day

I guess I should feel great. My surgery did go well and my pain has subsided alot in the last few weeks. I don't have to take as many pain pills. But...damn it I am gaining so much weight. I will be so glad when I can be active again. I just hate this...I feel trapped in my own body. Soon, hopefully I will be well again. I will be able to walk and do things without feeling exhausted...my legs feel so heavy and tired when I walk. I drove for the first time yesterday. Only a couple of miles and then shopped for about 15 minutes at the grocery store. Wow! It just about wiped me out. I feel like such a invalid. I feel so bad for anyone who is permanently handicapped. I hope I am not. It takes months to see how successful this will be.

Back now from Spinal Surgery

I'm back now from my spinal surgery and hope to start drawing soon. I am able to get a little more comfortable now and should be able to draw again. I call this drawing New Calf.

Get out and Vote

I'll be getting out there to vote today. I hope we have a good turn out here in Michigan. We really need help in this state. If something doesn't give soon most of our working class will be on welfare. Our economy is so terrible here. This old lady Maxine says it all.
